Big Brother's Ziggy tests his favourite chat-up lines

He was last year’s Big Brother heart-throb and keen to live up to his romantic image, Ziggy Lichman is now working alongside DatingDirect.com to help love blossom in cyber space.

FemaleFirst caught up with the former model to find out if there really is any love on the Northern Line.

Have you got any favourites this year?

I like Darnell because he's pretty funny and I think his audition piece was sort of, "Hey I’m not one of the best looking guys but I am what I am." I just think he's cool and down to earth and he seems like he's had a bit of a life experience.

Also, I like Cat, she seems pretty funny and bubbly and it's nice for her to be on because I don’t think that she's the normal type of person they would go for and I think she is breaking a couple of boundaries because there's language barriers there and I think it's very good for the British public to have diverse people in there.

Is anyone getting on your nerves already?

Yeah, I don't really like Alexandra, i think there's no need for someone to be so aggressive, i just don't understand her, it's just like; "Chill out love."

Does Alexandra remind you of someone from last year then?

[Laughs] Yeah, but Charley wasn't as bad really, you know, she's got a nice side to her in the way that she doesn't take herself that seriously. She said it was a game and she was putting on an act but i cant argue with girls anymore, I’m done with that after my experience in Big Brother, there's just not enough time in the day to argue with people, so when someone come's in really aggressive and confrontational you just think "what's the point?"

Do you have any regrets about being on the show?

No I have none at all, about anything that happened.

You're currently working with Dating Direct to promote online dating, do you think that the stigma which has been associated with dating websites is now a thing of the past?

I think so because a lot more people are opening up to dating websites, and DatingDirect.com has about 3.5 million members so it's the biggest website there is for dating.

Personally I think people are letting their guard down a lot more when it comes to online dating because it's a way of finding love or happiness or whatever someone is looking for and there are like-minded people on there. Obviously you can get the odd person with strange requests but i think that all in all websites are a good way forward.
