The holiday season is a busy time, especially for women. Demands on our diaries such as gathering gifts for loved ones and travelling around the country to visit family and friends, can interrupt our daily routines. Research from the makers of Levonelle® One Step has revealed that the holiday season can also disrupt women’s normal contraceptive routine1. The festive season can seem impossible to get through at times, with a list of a million tasks mounting up. It’s no wonder that the upset to your normal rhythm of life at this busy time can mean that your regular routine can be disrupted, including contraception. However don’t let it all get too much – follow my tips to help minimise the impact of holiday upheavals on your daily routine. It’s also important to remember not to be too hard on yourself if you do miss a task, and to ask for help if you need it.
