New research provides insight into honeymoon antics.
Eight out ten newlyweds cite ‘other activity’ as preferable to bouncing the bed springs whilst enjoying their first holiday as Mr & Mrs. In fact a whopping 46% would prefer to see the local sights rather than christen their marriage.
New research* by MSC Cruises, issued today provides an insight into the minds of the 250,000** thousand Brits who get hitched each year. Additional key findings include:
· Brits consider their honeymoon integral to their marriage with 100% of newlyweds enjoying a honeymoon in some shape or other
· Honeymooners in Northern Ireland and Wales spend the least (with over a third spending less than £1,000)
· 55% of honeymooners are looking to avoid the traditional honeymoon holiday of sun, sea and sand
· 32% of 18-24 year olds bought themselves new lingerie, but only 8% of men buy new briefs before they leave
